Planning permission has been approved for the proposed reroute of the Affric Kintail Way to remove the A831 road section. One or two conditions attached but none too serious.
Many thanks to all those who have assisted with the project thus far and we now begin the process of getting the funds in place!

View the map of the planned reroute.  As anticipated it financial constraints mean the work will be carried out in phases.  Phase I will include AK9, AK8, AK7, AK6 and part of AK5 – this will reduce roughly 40% of travel on the public road.
