Five companies were invited to tender for Phase 2 resulting in the contract being awarded again to Hitrak Ltd. It is anticipated work will commence before the end of May with a 12-14 week timescale.

Sections in blue AK6-AK9 are complete with a temporary access to/from A831 at P1. Phase 2 will be tackled in two parts – AK5 through Dark Deer Croft to reach the A831 at P2 where we will again put in temporary signage whilst the remaining sections north of the A831 i.e. AK1-AK4 are built.

We will update as the work goes on but we would ask that you keep clear of the works until advised it is safe to follow the new sections.
