NTS Kintail Outdoor Activities

Guided Walks & Sea Kayaking

Guided walks over any of the 10 Munros on NTS property as well as any other local peak in the Glen Shiel and Loch Cluanie area and of course the Falls of Glomach.


NTS Rangers are fully accredited Summer Mountain Leaders as well as members of the Kintail Mountain Rescue Team. Also on offer is sea kayaking instruction ranging from taster days to intermediate level four day courses.

Boots n' Paddles

An ideal opportunity for visitors to try something new!


Boots n' Paddles offer a variety of outdoor activities such as canoeing on the River Glass at the magnificent Aigas Gorge just 10 miles from Cannich. This haven for wildlife including otters and falcons is explored during early morning trips.


Other venues for taking to the water are at Loch Ness and Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin in Glen Affric.


Also included at our Aigas venue is Archery - a great sport for all abilities and fitness levels. Individuals and family groups welcome.


Instruction is of course provided on all activities.
